The Process
Our handmade lighting designs follow a 7 Step Process,
from initial concept to the final creation beautifully installed. Each of our designs shares its own distinct personality, because each one
requires a different set moulds and hand-made techniques, they’re not only visually unique—they’re tonally and texturally diverse, as well.
Design
STEP 1
Each lighting piece starts with a blank concrete canvas, ready to be shaped into organic lines, textures, and vibrant colours
Mixing
STEP 2
We combine dry concrete with chosen colour oxides, adding just the right amount of cold water and ice for the perfect blend.
Adding Fibres
STEP 3
Glass fibres are scattered throughout, enhancing strength while keeping our lights light and durable.
Moulding
STEP 4
The mix is poured into custom moulds, covered in plastic and warm blankets for a cosy set.
Curing
STEP 5
After 24 hours, we de-mould and let our creations breathe on netting racks for seven days.
Finishing Touches
STEP 6
Once cured, each light is cleaned and sealed with a premium finish for lasting beauty.
Installation
STEP 7
Finally, our registered electrician, Nick, fits each piece with fittings and cable, ready to illuminate your space with style.
We treat concrete like a craft—measuring, mixing, and refining with care. Our durable Australian mix is enriched with iron oxides, creating colour that’s true and long-lasting, not just painted on. Each piece reveals its own personality through raw textures, tonal shifts, and natural imperfections. Easy to care for and made to last, these surfaces tell a story—no two are ever the same.
